Japanese Recipe Miso Salmon

I've been following Namiko Chen, a food blogger, at Just One Cookbook for quite some time now and love cooking many of her authentic Japanese recipes. She even makes videos for each of them, so if cooking is not your forte, you can first watch her on her YouTube channel, Just One Cookbook.

Our first Weekend Recipe is her Miso Salmon. It literally takes 10 mins to prep and 10-12 mins to cook. Yay for quick and delicious recipes!

Miso Salmon

Prep time: 5mins
Cook time: 10mins

Ingredients:

14 oz (400 g) skin-on salmon fillet (cut in half if one big piece)

Marinade
2 Tbsp. white miso
1 Tbsp. sake
1 Tbsp. mirin
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
¼ tsp. sesame oil

Topping
½ tsp. black and white sesame seeds (optional)
1 scallion for garnish (optional)
